Greetings!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Iota Omega Chapter. I am honored to serve as the chapter’s 26th president – following in the “footsteps” of women who set high standards and blazed the trail for me and others to follow. I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to represent and lead the members of this dynamic and passionate chapter that has been an influence in the Pensacola, Florida community.

Since the chapter chartering on November 23, 1946, Delta Iota Omega Chapter members have played an integral part in planning and participating in service projects in the local community and surrounding areas. Members have also played a major part in supporting academic programs and scholarships that have benefited the youth of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida. We are a small chapter, but we are a mighty force in service!

Delta Iota Omega is one of more than 1,000 chapters that makes up Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated^®. Together we are embracing the vision of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, by "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood." We are committed to improving the lives of those we serve by focusing on family empowerment, economic wealth building, environment enhancements, social justice advocacy, and local community enrichment.
